2017 Gifts to Stoney Creek HS
With our funding, teacher Don Wilson purchased two solar panels, materials to make a timed watering system, LED grow lights, and plants for the greenhouse that is attached to his AP Environmental Science classroom. The first photo shows Mr. Wilson and students Isaac Kozak and Miles Vedder with one of the solar panels. The second photo is in the greenhouse with “gardeners” Paige Kuzaraan and Katie Fust.
2017 Gift to Rochester HS
Students in the AP Environmental Science class at Rochester High School display the 13 new pairs of chest high waders that were purchased with our funding. Teacher Brandon Shurter requested the additional waders to allow all students to get into the water for aquatic study on Paint Creek and Trout Lake in Bald Mountain State Park.
